Post 6: International Music Score Library Project

The site I choosed names "IMSLP", that means "International Music Score Library Project" (https://imslp.org/wiki/Main_Page). This site is a very big library that provide us almost  scores from almost every composer, so it's a very important tool for musicians and music students. Also, the site provides some historical recordings, musicological information and orders the music by date. Something that I like so much is to see if the piece of work that I look for belongs to a bigger work or to know something about its context.

This site was created by Edward W. Guo in 2006, and since there, it has became a very useful tool for musicians. I would recommend it to allo kind of  people who need music scores. When you find the music piece you’re looking for, you usually have many options of scores, depending on the year, editor, scan quality. Evenly, you can download antiques manuscrips from the works, like Bach, Beethoveen, Debussy, etcetera. So, if you need scores, I totally recomend you this site.

Here's an example: the famous Bach's cello prelude (the "song of spaghetti") , written by his wife, Ana Magdalena, scanned and uploaded to IMSLP.
